DeFCoN (DFCN)

“DeFCoN (DFCN) is a community-driven Layer-1 masternode blockchain designed as a Decentralized Freelance Computing Network. Built as an upgraded Dash-based Proof-of-Stake chain with Proof-of-Service (PoS²), DeFCoN focuses on rewarding reliable masternode infrastructure today and is designed to add a Proof-of-Resources (PoR) layer over time. The long-term goal is to let masternode operators monetize real computing resources such as CPU, GPU, RAM and storage for decentralized applications, including DeFi, AI and gaming infrastructure.

Instead of directing a share of block rewards to a central treasury, DeFCoN sends 100% of ongoing block rewards to network participants, with the vast majority allocated to masternodes and the remainder to stakers. This reward model gives masternode operators a dominant share of emissions in return for locked collateral, uptime and participation in network validation and on-chain governance. At the same time, all transaction fees are burned to create deflationary pressure on supply.

DeFCoN uses a dual governance structure. On-chain protocol decisions follow a “1 masternode = 1 vote” model for upgrades and network parameters, while a separate DAO manages the one-time treasury allocation for ecosystem development. This separation keeps protocol governance aligned with masternode operators, while treasury spending is handled transparently through DAO processes.
