DeFiChain (DFI)

DeFiChain is a decentralized blockchain platform enabling fast, intelligent, and transparent financial services. Unlike most other DeFi projects built on the Ethereum network, DeFiChain is built on Bitcoin (as a software fork) and leverages Bitcoin’s security by anchoring to the Bitcoin blockchain (via Merkle root) every few minutes.

We have designed the system to be non-Turing complete to reduce smart contract errors and have limited its opcodes only to allow decentralized finance dApps. This ensures that only financial transactions are possible, preventing games and casinos from clogging the ecosystem and causing high transaction fees.

DeFiChain is launching a Uniswap-style liquidity pool, wrapping of assets, and a decentralized exchange (DEX). This will bring a new option for yield farming to the DeFi space, making us the first non-Ethereum-based platform to do so.
