ETFSwap (ETFS)

ETFSwap (ETFS) was an ERC-20 token launched in 2024 to fund a decentralized platform that aimed to bridge cryptocurrency markets with traditional exchange-traded funds. The project promoted itself during a public presale hosted on etfswappresale.com, presenting the token as the utility asset for a future trading venue where users would be able to swap on-chain assets for tokenized representations of ETFs. The team positioned ETFSwap as an alternative entry point into equities, commodities, and other regulated investment products without requiring a brokerage account.

The token contract lives on Ethereum at 0xf43EEe4FEB1E2C84000622780f93F1090E856433 with a fixed maximum supply of one billion ETFS. Tokenomics outlined in the GitBook whitepaper described allocations for presale buyers, liquidity, staking rewards, and a treasury, with a portion of fees from the planned trading platform intended to be redistributed to stakers. The roadmap signalled stages for presale, exchange listings, beta access to the trading platform, and eventual integration of tokenized real-world assets, though most of these milestones were never delivered.

By October 2024 the presale website went offline and has not returned. The brand domain etfswap.io is currently listed for sale through a domain broker, no live market activity is observed for the contract, and there have been no further updates on the project communication channels. ETFSwap should therefore be treated as an inactive token: the on-chain contract still exists and the historical record remains accessible, but there is no functioning team, product, or trading venue behind it.
