GammaSwap (GS)

GammaSwap (GS) is a decentralized protocol that allows users to engage in perpetual trading, offering leveraged exposure to any token. With GammaSwap, users can earn more as liquidity providers (LP) while minimizing the risk of Impermanent Loss. The platform features a user-friendly app that provides access to various products and services.

One of the key functionalities of GammaSwap is liquidity provisioning. Users can earn a higher yield by providing liquidity through the platform’s wrapped pools. GammaSwap directly deposits the liquidity into the underlying automated market maker (AMM) and provides LP tokens representing the user’s position. This approach offers a seamless and efficient way to participate in decentralized trading.

Besides liquidity provisioning, GammaSwap offers perpetual options that provide exposure to any token in the form of call, put, or straddle options. Unlike perpetual futures, users of GammaSwap’s perpetual options are not at risk of liquidation if the price moves against them. Instead, the position is collateralized by volatility, and users are responsible for paying a funding rate. GammaSwap also plans to introduce vaults to hedge against Impermanent Loss and enable the creation of novel structured products and automated strategies.
