Radicle (RAD)

Radicle (RAD) is a sovereign peer-to-peer network designed for code collaboration. It operates on top of the Git infrastructure, ensuring censorship-resistant collaboration and creating a resilient network without reliance on third parties. Radicle allows users to run their nodes, guaranteeing their autonomy and fostering a decentralized community.

Regarding security, Radicle stores all social artifacts in Git and utilizes public-key cryptography for signing data. This ensures the authenticity and authorship of all information shared on the network. Additionally, Radicle follows a local-first approach, meaning users can access its functionalities without internet connectivity. As users retain ownership of their data, they can easily migrate, backup, and access their projects online and offline.

Radicle operates as a peer-to-peer protocol, where every user on the network runs identical software known as the Radicle Stack. This stack consists of a command line interface and a networked service called the Radicle Node. Users can also use the Radicle Web client and HTTP daemon, which offer a web-based experience for enhanced accessibility and convenience. With the Radicle CLI, users can interact with the network, manage issues, patches, and projects, and control various aspects of the Radicle Node.
