“StorX is an Open Source, Trustless, censorship-resistant decentralized Cloud Storage Network. We are a decentralised alternative to DropBox, StorX’s unique architecture empowers its users to store their data securely on the distributed cloud. A user’s unique passphrase encrypts each file uploaded on StorX and then splits into smaller fragments; multiple copies of such fragments are created and then stored on numerous autonomous storage nodes operated by individual operators spread worldwide. Since encrypted data is distributed, no individual entities can access the user’s complete data. Distributed architecture also prevents data from being hacked or prone to ransomware attacks. StorX is faster and cheaper by 70% – 90 % compared to traditional cloud storage.
