About Tether (PulseChain)
Tether (PulseChain) is a cryptocurrency with the ticker symbol USDT. The PulseChain main net has been launched, providing users with live, on-chain statistics through GoPulse.com. Users can also benefit from the brand-new Explorer and bridge their assets from Ethereum. To connect to PulseChain, users can add PulseChain to their MetaMask wallet and select “Custom Network” with the provided RPC URL and Chain ID. PulseChain aims to enrich Ethereum users by lowering fees and bringing the ETH system state and ERC20s. Additionally, it seeks to empower ERC20 and NFT users with the largest airdrop in history, offering free PulseChain versions of thousands of tokens and NFTs. PulseChain is designed to be easy to use, with MetaMask wallet compatibility and lower transaction fees compared to Ethereum.
PulseChain’s goals include increasing Ethereum’s value and lowering its fees by sharing the load. It also aims to enrich ERC20 and NFT users by rewarding holders and founders of Ethereum-based projects. PulseChain is 17% faster than Ethereum, with 10-second blocks instead of 12. It embraces proof of stake validation, replacing proof of work miners and making it environmentally friendly. PulseChain reduces the issuance of its native token, PLS, by 25% per block compared to Ethereum. PLS can be used to activate validators and earn more PLS for securing the network. Testimonials from the Chief Science Officer of the SENS Research Foundation express gratitude to Richard Heart and the PulseChain community for their donations and support.
PulseChain also offers interoperability, allowing users to trade ETH on the Pulse network and PLS on the Ethereum network through bridging. Using the PulseBridge contract, users can send ETH from Ethereum and receive “ETH from Ethereum” on PulseChain at a 1:1 ratio. Similarly, using the ETHbridge contract, users can send PLS from PulseChain and receive “PLS from PulseChain” on the Ethereum network, which can also apply to ERC20s. This bridging system extends to other smart contract-capable networks as well. It’s important to note that anything locked on the Ethereum network and bridged to the PulseChain network will be labeled “[Anything] from Ethereum.” Overall, Tether (PulseChain) aims to provide a seamless experience for users, facilitate cross-chain transactions, and enhance the value and accessibility of cryptocurrencies.
