YeFi (YEFI)

YeFi (YEFI) was a decentralized application (DApp) built on the Binance Smart Chain that allowed crypto investors to earn passive income by staking their digital assets. The platform offered annual percentage yields of up to 80%, with staked funds accruing daily interest that users could withdraw without strict lock-in periods. YeFi was accessible through any BSC-compatible wallet, including MetaMask, BitKeep, and Trust Wallet, and its native token, YEFI, was used for governance and yield boosting within the ecosystem.

Users could stake assets for durations of one or fifteen days, with an optional auto-renewal function available for continued yield generation. A key feature was impermanent loss-safe withdrawals, which guaranteed that users could recover the exact amount of assets deposited at the end of the staking period, regardless of price movements during that time. The smart contracts underpinning the platform were audited by Certik and Beosin prior to launch. YeFi also integrated with decentralized data storage protocols, offering 1.5x higher APY incentives for staking tokens from those networks as a way to bootstrap participation in partner ecosystems.

The YEFI token served as YeFi’s native asset, granting holders governance rights and access to a 2x APY multiplier when staking YEFI compared to other supported assets. Token holders could participate in protocol governance through token-weighted voting on proposals. YEFI was traded on PancakeSwap and MDEX, among other venues. As of October 2024, the YeFi website went offline and the project appears to have ceased operations. The YEFI token contract remains on the Binance Smart Chain at address 0x193b8230f594f63da50876eaf362177d1dca4a45, with a total recorded supply of approximately 127,729 YEFI.
