Eclipcoin

Eclipcoin was a software cryptocurrency wallet platform founded in 2020 and operated by Eclipcoin Technology OÜ, a company registered in Estonia under European Union financial regulations. The platform held a license from the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) under license number FVT000388, positioning it as a regulated custodial wallet service for European and international users.

The platform offered a range of services including cryptocurrency buying and selling via debit card (Visa and Mastercard), SEPA and SWIFT bank transfer support, cryptocurrency-to-fiat conversion, and on-platform storage of digital assets. At peak operation, Eclipcoin supported approximately 20 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Dash, and TRON. The platform used multi-signature transaction confirmation and tiered identity verification with three KYC levels, capping withdrawals at $5,000, $10,000, and $15,000 respectively depending on the verification tier.

Eclipcoin operated as a web-based wallet without a dedicated mobile application. Fee structures included a 5% charge for card-based crypto purchases, a 3% fee for bank transfers, a 1.5% withdrawal fee, and no commission on crypto-to-fiat card conversions or on-platform storage. The platform went offline in October 2024 and is no longer accessible. No public statement was issued regarding the closure.
