What is Jubiter?
Jubiter was a custodial cryptocurrency wallet and exchange operated by Jubiter Technologies OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. The platform was accessible entirely through a web browser and required no software installation, making it a straightforward entry point for users looking to buy, store, and convert digital assets without directly managing private keys.
The platform was custodial, meaning Jubiter held the private keys on behalf of users rather than giving customers direct control over their funds. It offered a fiat on-ramp via bank transfers and credit and debit card purchases, allowing users to acquire cryptocurrency using traditional payment methods. Additional features included a built-in coin converter, over-the-counter trading, and an affiliate program. The service also listed margin and leverage trading capabilities.
Jubiter supported Bitcoin and a range of major altcoins. No comprehensive public list of all supported assets has survived in accessible sources, so the full scope of coin support is not documented.
The platform was web-only throughout its operation: no native iOS app, Android app, desktop client, or browser extension was offered. This limited its reach compared to wallets with dedicated mobile applications.
Jubiter ceased operations, and its website went offline on April 17, 2025. The jubiter.com domain subsequently redirected to an unrelated business, and the service is no longer accessible.
