Aliens (A51)

Aliens ($A51) is a fully on-chain generative pixel-art NFT collection on the Base network, built as an ERC-20 token paired with a Uniswap v4 hook. Its defining mechanic ties the token directly to the artwork: buying $A51 through the pool atomically mints a unique generative alien “specimen,” and selling burns one. Each whole token a wallet holds is a specimen, so the collection is hard-capped at 5,100 — identical to the token’s total supply — drawn from roughly 5.9 trillion possible trait combinations. In keeping with the project’s Area 51 theme, the specimens are framed as a research catalog dating to 1947.

Every specimen is rendered entirely from on-chain contract bytecode as SVG, with no reliance on IPFS or external hosting, so both the art and its provenance live permanently on-chain. Liquidity is locked for five years, and each NFT carries on-chain “temporal” markings that age visibly over time, making a specimen’s history readable on any marketplace rather than only the project’s own interface.

The project wraps these mechanics in Area 51 lore, narrated by a bureaucratic “council.” A roadmap of additional features is planned but not yet live, including an ERC-721 wrapper, staking, and “Alien Arena” — an on-chain PvP mode where a specimen’s traits become combat abilities and its on-chain age becomes power.
