Betify (BETIFY)

Betify (BETIFY) is a decentralized finance token launched on the Cronos blockchain in February 2022 under the GambleFi brand. The project was built as an OlympusDAO (OHM) protocol fork, combining algorithmic treasury management with NFT-based gamification mechanics. At its core, Betify aimed to merge the rebase tokenomics popularized by OHM with the concept of zero-loss sports betting, where users could place wagers on sporting and esports events while retaining their initial stake through treasury-backed collateral. The GambleFi Treasury held a basket of assets to collateralize each token, establishing a floor price below which BETIFY could theoretically not fall.

Token holders could stake BETIFY to receive BETSLIP, a profit-accruing token representing a share of the protocol's earnings and entitling holders to dividends. Bonding was also available as a mechanism for users to purchase tokens at a discount in exchange for supplying liquidity or treasury assets. A BoosterBox NFT system added a gamification layer, rewarding bond purchasers with vesting reduction boosters designed to accelerate earnings. The total token supply at the time of last on-chain data was approximately 190,000 BETIFY, reflecting the rebase mechanics of the OHM model. The contract was deployed on February 11, 2022, and the token reached its all-time high of around $9.05 within three weeks of launch in early March 2022.

Betify became inactive by mid-2022. The last recorded token trade took place in May 2022, roughly three months after launch, and no further development activity has been recorded since the initial GitHub commit from February 2022. The official project website (gamblefi.io) has since expired and is now parked, and the Medium publication has been removed. The Telegram community retains under 40 members with no visible updates. There is no evidence of ongoing team communication, development, or community activity. Approximately 814 unique wallet addresses hold the token on-chain.
