Food Bank (FOOD)

Food Bank was launched on September 18, 2021, as a smart contract token functioning as a peer-to-peer medium of exchange on the Binance Smart Chain Network. It provides much-needed funds and support to food banks. Funds are raised through a transaction tax on all purchases and sales of the token. A 4% charity donation is allocated to food banks suggested by the token holders, allowing them to see the benefits of their investment in their local communities.

Food Bank made its first charity donation in December 2021. At genesis, 100,000,000,000,000,000 FOOD tokens were created, 10% of which have already been burned.

Currently, 1,100,000,000,000,000 tokens are in circulation. The total supply of FOOD will be further reduced through a series of planned 10% burns triggered by specific milestones in the number of holders. These milestones are 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 25,000 holders. Once the 50% burn is completed, a decision will be made regarding potentially burning the 20% of tokens held in the locked wallet.
