JUST (JST)

JUST (JST) is the governance token of the JustLend DAO ecosystem, a decentralized finance protocol built on the TRON blockchain. Launched in 2020 by the JUST Foundation with close ties to the TRON network, the platform grew into one of TRON’s largest DeFi hubs, combining a money-market lending protocol with an automated market maker and a decentralized oracle service, alongside the USDD stablecoin infrastructure it helps support.

At its core, JustLend DAO lets users supply TRX and TRC-20 tokens to lending pools to earn interest, or post collateral to take out overcollateralized loans, using a jToken model comparable to established money-market protocols on other chains. Users can also lock TRX or other assets to mint stablecoins, swap tokens through the ecosystem’s AMM, and rely on its oracle system to feed price data to smart contracts. JST is issued primarily as a TRC-20 token on TRON, with bridged versions also circulating on Ethereum and BNB Chain.

JST holders use the token to pay platform fees and interest, and to participate in on-chain governance, where locking JST grants voting power over protocol parameters such as interest rates and collateral requirements through JustLend Improvement Proposals. The protocol also runs a revenue-funded buyback-and-burn program, using a share of lending, staking, and other ecosystem fees to purchase JST on the open market and permanently remove it from circulation, while a portion of protocol fees is redistributed to users who stake JST.
