Memetic-PepeCoin (MEME)

Memetic-PepeCoin, with the ticker MEME, is a Proof-of-Stake cryptocurrency platform that originated in 2016. It offers an L2 ERC20 token called PEPE, which will soon be tradable on the bridge at pepeco.in. With the PEPE token, users can create rare NFTs, trade them on the Decentralized exchange, and share them with the community. Additionally, there is a feature called Proof of Meme in the Qt wallet, where users can hash an image and receive a private key that proves ownership of the hashed image and the date and time it was saved publicly on the chain.

Another aspect of Memetic-PepeCoin is the MasterToads program, which allows users to run their node and contribute to the strength and security of the PepeCoin blockchain. By holding 15,000 MEME, users can become MasterToads and receive a percentage of newly minted blocks as a reward. Currently, 37.5% of a newly mined block is paid towards MasterToads.
