Metacade (MCADE)

Metacade (MCADE) is an onchain gaming platform built on Base L2 that positions itself as a gaming revenue engine. The platform connects players, game builders, and token holders through a shared economy where gameplay generates real revenue routed back through the MCADE token. Three core products sit at the heart of the ecosystem: Ratway, an onchain racing game where players mint, train, breed, and race genetically unique rats for MCADE prize pools; an arcade with 25-plus games tied to a global leaderboard and Crystal rewards; and an Agent Arena launching in Q2 2026, where autonomous AI agents compete for MCADE prize pools.

The revenue model is a central design principle. Every onchain play in Ratway routes revenue through the platform today, with arcade and Agent Arena routing activating in Q2 2026. An operating layer called Max OS connects these products and feeds into the revenue loop, creating compounding demand for MCADE rather than relying on speculation alone. Token holders can also provide liquidity in the MCADE/WETH pool through a partnership with Hydrex, earning oHYDX emissions on top of trading fees, which can then be swapped for HYDX to earn a share of weekly protocol revenue.

MCADE is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum with a maximum supply of 2 billion tokens, of which 1.76 billion are currently in circulation. The project launched via presale in 2023 and has since expanded its product suite significantly. A launchpad helps indie and onchain games get discovered and monetised within the Metacade player base. The combination of onchain gaming mechanics, a structured revenue model, and a growing game catalog gives Metacade a distinct position in the Web3 gaming space.
