Raptoreum (RTM)

Raptoreum - An ASIC/FPGA-resistant Proof of Work/Proof of Stake hybrid cryptocurrency that allows for asset creation, futures, and smart contracts with 51% double-spend attack immunity.

Raptoreum was co-founded by David Morris, an early contributor to the crypto space who worked with BTCChina and provided translations for multiple industry firsts.

David Morris set up and ran one of the first commercial-scale GPU mining farms for BTC in China in 2011. In an interview with Mineyourbiz, he explained that his professional involvement in the industry grew steadily until the Mt. Gox hack, which led to a year-long hiatus before he returned to mining.

During his hiatus, David Morris stepped back from most of his projects but re-engaged with the crypto space through mining, his main passion. In 2018, he joined the Raptoreum team as a founding member, fully re-engaging with the industry.

Apart from being an entrepreneur, David Morris is also an educator who takes great pride in mentoring development talent and achieving incredible results with young students.

During the first four months of mainnet block generation, Raptoreum (RTM) experienced growth in network activity, Smartnodes, and active social media users.

On April 9th, 2021, Raptoreum was listed on the SouthX exchange, and on April 18th, 2021, it was listed on the Qtrade exchange.
