The Vault Staked SOL (VSOL)

The Vault Staked SOL (VSOL) is the liquid staking token issued by The Vault, a liquid staking protocol built on Solana. When a user deposits SOL into The Vault, it is delegated across a set of validators and the user receives vSOL in return, a token that represents their staked SOL position and can still be used across other Solana DeFi applications instead of sitting locked during the network’s multi-day unstaking period.

vSOL is pegged to SOL through an appreciating exchange rate rather than a fixed 1:1 redemption: it opens at parity with SOL and, as validator staking rewards accumulate in the underlying pool, the amount of SOL each vSOL can be redeemed for rises over time, so holders accrue yield passively without manually claiming or restaking. Backing for vSOL is the pool of SOL delegated to validators on Solana, making it a direct liquid-staking derivative of SOL rather than an independent protocol token.
