Xenon (XNN)

Xenon (XNN) is an ERC-20 token deployed on the Ethereum blockchain. The project operated under the xenon.network domain, publishing a whitepaper in September 2017 and launching publicly in October of that year. It targeted the decentralized application space, though the project’s detailed documentation is no longer publicly available. With a total supply of 1 billion XNN and 300 million tokens placed into initial circulation, the token was distributed and tradeable on Ethereum-compatible decentralized exchanges.

As an Ethereum token, XNN does not use its own consensus mechanism or mining algorithm. All transactions are secured by the Ethereum network and remain permanently verifiable on-chain via the token contract address. The token launched at approximately $0.01 per XNN. The remaining 700 million tokens above the circulating supply were presumably held in reserve or subject to a vesting schedule that was never completed.

The official Xenon website (xenon.network) is no longer accessible and has been returning errors since at least 2019. No active development, community activity, or exchange liquidity is visible, and the project’s social channels show no signs of active management. Xenon should be considered an abandoned project. Token balances remain permanently on-chain and verifiable via the Ethereum contract, but the absence of active development and a defunct website make XNN a high-risk asset with no clear path forward.
