Yield Basis (YB) is a financial protocol designed to leverage Bitcoin liquidity through an innovative automated market maker (AMM) model. It addresses the impermanent loss issue commonly faced in traditional AMMs by pairing Bitcoin with borrowed crvUSD and maintaining a 2× leverage. This mechanism allows users to deposit Bitcoin and receive ybBTC, enabling them to earn trading fees while ensuring their positions track Bitcoin’s value without loss. With a total value locked (TVL) of approximately $155.03 million, Yield Basis creates a responsive financial environment that capitalizes on market volatility to generate yield.

The Yield Basis protocol offers various yield sources, which users can access through its platform. Participants can choose between Trading Yield, which derives earnings from market activities, and Token Yield, where users earn YB emissions by providing liquidity.
