Zebec Network (ZBCN)

Zebec Network (ZBCN) is the native token of Zebec, a decentralized infrastructure network built for real-time payments, payroll, and value transfer. Founded in 2021 and originally built on Solana, the network has since expanded across multiple chains including Base, BNB Chain, NEAR, and Ethereum, positioning itself as a multi-chain settlement layer for continuous, on-chain money movement rather than a single-chain application.

The project targets a core inefficiency in traditional finance: payments and salaries are typically batched and delayed rather than settled instantly. Zebec’s flagship product, Zebec Payroll, lets employers stream wages to workers continuously in real time instead of on a fixed pay cycle, and the broader Zebec SuperApp extends this into consumer disbursements, point-of-sale hardware, and Zebec Cards that let holders spend crypto as fiat on everyday purchases. The network has also pursued integration with traditional financial rails, including membership in the NACHA Payments Innovation Alliance that governs the U.S. ACH network and support for the ISO 20022 messaging standard.

ZBCN functions as both the governance and utility token of the network. Institutional clients and employers using Zebec’s payroll and disbursement products pay service fees in ZBCN, and holders can stake the token to earn yield, unlock higher incentive tiers, and reduce fees within the SuperApp. ZBCN replaced an earlier token called ZBC in a 2024 migration, with each ZBC exchanged for 10 ZBCN and the original supply burned in the process.
