PAR Stablecoin (PAR) is a price-stable token that is pegged to the value of EuropaUSD. It is part of the KUMA Protocol, which offers tokenized real-world assets in various forms, allowing users to access traditional assets in a DeFi-compatible manner. PAR provides an alternative and reliable source of yield in different market conditions.

PAR is issued by Mimo Capital AG, which also issues Asset-Backed NFTs. The tokens backing PAR are backed by 1 year US Treasury Bills, ensuring their stability and security. With PAR, users can benefit from the interest rate of the assets backing it, as its balance accrues over time without requiring any user intervention.

The Parallel Protocol, within which PAR operates, enables users to leverage their assets by providing access to immediate liquidity without the need to sell. Instead, users can mint multiple price-stable currencies against their collateral, ensuring that all minted tokens are over-collateralized. This feature allows users to maintain ownership of their assets while still obtaining liquidity.
