Trust Wallet Token (TWT)

Trust Wallet Token (TWT) is the governance and utility token of Trust Wallet, one of the world most widely used non-custodial mobile cryptocurrency wallets. Trust Wallet was founded in 2017 by Viktor Radchenko and acquired by Binance in 2018, accelerating its growth into a platform used by over 60 million people. The wallet supports hundreds of blockchains and allows users to store, send, receive, and swap crypto assets, browse decentralized applications, and collect NFTs, all without handing custody of private keys to any third party.

TWT launched in 2020 on Binance Chain as a BEP-2 token before migrating to BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain) as a BEP-20 token. It serves as the backbone of Trust Wallet governance model: token holders can submit and vote on proposals covering new blockchain integrations, token listings, and product features. Beyond governance, TWT provides practical utility inside the wallet, including discounts on in-app crypto purchases and decentralized exchange services, and it functions as the submission fee currency for new asset listings in the Trust Wallet open-source repository.

TWT has a fixed maximum supply of 1 billion tokens, with approximately 416 million in circulation. The token trades on BNB Chain under the contract 0x4b0f1812e5df2a09796481ff14017e6005508003 and is accessible directly within the Trust Wallet app. As Binance in-house wallet expands support for account abstraction and new ecosystems, TWT remains central to community-led decision-making, giving holders a direct voice in the direction of one of crypto most downloaded self-custody applications.
