Fireblocks

Fireblocks is an enterprise-grade digital asset infrastructure platform founded in 2017 by Michael Shaulov, Pavel Berengoltz, and Idan Ofrat. The company was established following the founders’ investigation into a major exchange breach attributed to the Lazarus Group, which exposed critical gaps in institutional custody. Fireblocks operates from New York and Tel Aviv, and is backed by Sequoia Capital, Spark Capital, Index Ventures, and other investors.

At its core, Fireblocks secures assets using Multi-Party Computation (MPC) combined with hardware-level chip isolation (Intel SGX Secure Enclave), ensuring no complete private key ever exists in one place. The platform serves exchanges, custodians, banks, fintechs, payments companies, and Web3 businesses. Customers include ABN AMRO, Revolut, BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, Visa, and MoonPay.

The platform provides a broad suite of institutional products under the Fireblocks Network: treasury management, a Policy Engine for automated transaction governance, DeFi access controls, staking and earn integrations, tokenization tooling, and wallet connectors. The Wallet-as-a-Service and Embedded Wallets offerings let businesses deploy and manage wallets programmatically without handling raw key material. Fireblocks also launched an Agentic Payments Suite for AI agent-initiated payment flows, and acquired Dynamic and TRES Finance to extend its stack.

Fireblocks supports over 150 blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain, Cosmos, Polkadot, and NEAR Protocol, across mainnet and testnet environments. Thousands of fungible tokens, stablecoins, and native assets are available across the catalog.
