What is CryptoStats?
CryptoStats is an open-source, community-managed data platform that provides standardized blockchain and cryptocurrency metrics. It operates as a neutral repository where developers can build and publish data adapters, making on-chain metrics from protocols such as Uniswap, Arbitrum, Yearn, and Gitcoin freely accessible via a REST API and SDK.
The platform covers a broad range of data categories including protocol fee revenue, DEX trading volumes, ETH staking yields, lending protocol rates, bridge activity, DAO treasury holdings, and token issuance. It is governed entirely by its community with no venture capital backing, and all data is available at no cost to developers, publishers, and data analysts.
CryptoStats also provides a browser-based Adapter Editor and a Subgraph Editor for creating and deploying subgraphs to The Graph network. Its data infrastructure has been used by publishers and analytics projects in the broader crypto ecosystem.
