NOWPayments is a non-custodial cryptocurrency payment gateway operated by NOWPayments LTD, a company incorporated in the Seychelles. Founded in 2019, the platform was developed as part of the NOW Group, the same organization behind the ChangeNOW exchange service. Its core mission is to make it straightforward for businesses of any size to accept cryptocurrency payments, supporting over 300 digital assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and a wide range of altcoins.

In 2024, the platform added WalletConnect, TONConnect, and MetaMask support directly to invoices, and introduced automated payment processing tools. Merchant accounts include a dashboard for transaction tracking and real-time payment notifications.
