What is EthCC?
EthCC (Ethereum Community Conference) is an annual, non-profit technology and community conference dedicated to the Ethereum ecosystem. It is organised by Ethereum France, a French non-profit association founded in 2016 to promote and educate people about blockchain technology in French-speaking communities and beyond.
First held in Paris in 2018, EthCC has grown into the largest and longest-running annual Ethereum conference in Europe. Early editions took place in Paris, with the seventh edition held in Brussels in 2024. From 2025 onward, the conference is hosted at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, with dates confirmed through 2028. The 2025 edition attracted more than 6,500 accredited participants, and EthCC[9] in 2026 features over 400 speakers across four days of talks, workshops, and networking.
The conference covers a broad range of topics including decentralised finance, DAOs, developer tooling, and blockchain infrastructure, and caters to developers, investors, entrepreneurs, and researchers. A dedicated EthVC track connects early-stage blockchain startups with venture capital investors through pitches and workshops.
