Whale Alert is a blockchain analytics platform founded in 2018 and headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The company monitors cryptocurrency transaction activity across multiple blockchains in real time, converts large transfers into a standardized format, and publishes alerts and on-chain data for traders, investors, and researchers.

The platform tracks transactions across more than 100 digital assets and offers two subscription tiers: an alerts-only plan with instant push notifications on web, iOS, and Android, and a combined plan that adds on-chain metrics such as SOPR, realized profit and loss, average buy price, and HODL time tracking. A seven-day free trial is available. Whale Alert works with Chainstack for data infrastructure and Crystal Intelligence for analytics capabilities.

The service is used to identify significant capital movements, assess market sentiment, and support compliance and risk monitoring. Transaction data is collected continuously and supplemented with off-chain sources to build a historical database covering blockchain activity across the ecosystem.
