Fairmint

Fairmint is a blockchain-based equity management platform that enables founders to issue, manage, and transfer company equity onchain. The platform combines cap table administration with SEC-registered transfer agent services, supporting instruments such as SAFEs, convertible notes, and share certificates. Built-in KYC, KYB, and AML compliance tools are included to meet regulatory requirements.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in the United States, Fairmint serves both founders raising capital and investors tracking private holdings. The platform has facilitated over one billion dollars in onchain equity and supports more than 15,000 investors. It offers an AI-assisted portfolio dashboard for investors alongside the fundraising and cap table tools available to issuers.

Fairmint developed the Open Cap Table Protocol (OCP), which brings the Open Cap Table Format (OCF) standard onchain to enable interoperable and auditable equity records. The platform became an SEC-registered transfer agent in February 2024 and is a member of the Open Cap Table Coalition.
