Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Munich, Germany, the company is run by a team of over 20 engineers and blockchain specialists. It runs its own bare-metal servers and owns its network infrastructure, offering staking services independently without relying on cloud providers.

The company serves both institutional clients and individual token holders, securing over $800 million in staked assets across multiple proof-of-stake blockchains. Supported networks include Solana, Ethereum, Polkadot, Kusama, Cosmos, Tezos, and The Graph. On Solana, Staking Facilities operates one of the largest validators, with over 8 million SOL staked. It launched a $25 million venture fund in 2023 to invest in Solana and Web3 ecosystem projects.

Beyond validator operations, the company offers white-label validators, staking widget integrations, and compounding reward strategies. It co-founded the European Blockchain Association in 2020 and participates in Lido as a node operator, contributing to governance and open-source development across several blockchain ecosystems.
