ZK Labs

ZK Labs (Zero Knowledge Labs) is a blockchain security firm based in Zug, Switzerland, specialising in smart contract development and auditing for projects built on the Ethereum platform. Its core services include code review, vulnerability identification, security consulting, protocol design and analysis, and security training.

Founded by Matthew Di Ferrante, who brings expertise in cryptography, distributed systems, and information security, the company is registered as ZK Labs GmbH in Zug. ZK Labs has conducted audit engagements for a range of Ethereum-based projects and also received an Aragon Nest grant to research scalable private voting using bilinear pairings, producing a scheme for off-chain signature generation with efficient on-chain verification.

In addition to commercial engagements, ZK Labs has operated a community audits initiative, offering sponsored audits to select projects that have not conducted a token sale. The firm focuses primarily on Ethereum and maintains an open-source research and development presence through its GitHub organisation.
